Selle Royal Mano Bicycle Handle Bar Grips

The construction of the grip allows you to adjust the size to one of three different lengths by removing one of the 3 outer rings 2 in the relaxed version. This system allows you to customize the grip to your bicycle and the shifting system that you use. Because different cycling styles ask for different positions, Mano Grips are available in three versions. The Athletic type is for the sportive oriented cyclist. It has the broadest wings or support surfaces and is meant for straight to slightly bent handlebars. Such handlebars ask for a bent over, athletic stance, but offer less natural support, because of their shape. The Moderate has less pronounced wings, but provides the necessary support for the wrists on forward bent handlebars, as often seen mounted on touring bicycles. In this category of bicycles, the sitting position is merely upright, while arms remain stretched out so that there is less body weight on the grips. For city bicycles with the characteristic curved handlebars which require an upright sitting position Selle Royal has developed the Mano Relaxed grips.
