More specifically, the Symbol touts a PC in mold construction, meaning the exterior polycarbonate shell is fused to the impact absorbing foam liner. This system ultimately creates a more lightweight and less bulky wearing experience than conventional helmets. In addition to its in mold construction, the Symbol is outfitted with MIPS safety system, which consists of an additional, low friction layer within the helmet that permits the head to rotate relative to the helmet during the time of an angled impact. Meanwhile, the MRAS fit system provides a fully customizable fit: just simply adjust the rear cradle and dial in the pressure by using the micro adjustment dial. Scott also outfitted with Symbol with an adjustable Active S Vent and non adjustable G Vent system, allowing you to personalize the climate of your helmet.
