With his effortless style and ability to take care of business on any urban feature you put him in front of, Louif Paradis is a smooth criminal who steals the spotlight wherever he rides. His accomplice for causing urban mayhem is the Salomon Villain Snowboard. It provides a poppy, yet forgiving profile and smooth flexing, but responsive feel for causing trouble on the streets or in the terrain park. To give Lou the pop and stability of camber, but with a more forgiving feel, Salomon gave the Villain its Rock Out Camber profile. A large flat section underfoot provides stability, while mild camber outside the bindings keeps your board loaded up for big ollies and rocker at the tip and tail allows for catch free riding. Biax glass gives the board a buttery, predictable flex for locking into presses, and Popster Booster carbon stringers increase pop and response without adding weight. Salomon also added a triax fiberglass layer for enhanced response and precision. The lightweight aspen core is strong and snappy for a lively feel, and it's FSC certified so you know it's sustainably harvested. The freestyle edge tune lets you slide rails right out of the plastic without worrying about hanging up, and Royal Rubber pads in high pressure zones reduce chatter and prevent blowouts. Salomon added Slingshot TPU carbon inlays at the sidewalls this season for enhanced response. Finally, the Sintered EG base is infused with gallium to increase impact resistance, and the Electra finish gives it turbo charged speed.
