If you're looking for one of the most advanced jib sticks around, the Salomon Villain Classicks Snowboard should definitely be on your radar. It starts with the same Rock Out Camber and EQ RAD sidecut that makes the regular Villain so killer, and adds a Popster Eco Booster profile and an Aspen SLCT core to the mix. The result is even badder in the best way than the original, with less environmental impact. Rock Out Camber is a lot like a traditional camber profile, but it features a flat profile between the bindings, camber underfoot, and a rockered tip and tail. The rocker allows for enhanced presses, but the flat and cambered sections keep it stable when you're cruising around the entire mountain. The Popster Booster core profile cranks up the pop and response via bamboo rods radiating from underfoot toward the tip and tail. While the Villain is billed as a jib board, but with its medium flex and advanced construction, it's no slouch when you get it off the jib features. The Villain's all terrain ability comes in part from the EQ RAD sidecut, which blends multiple Equalizer and Radial sidecuts. Basically, it increases your edgehold when riding over sketchy surfaces. Additional noteworthy features include a sintered EG base for enhanced speed and Slingshot polyurethane rails for chatter reduction.
