The Rocker2 100 Skis are the most versatile option in Salomon's Rocker2 lineup, and they're the fabled, do it all boards that everyone's been waiting for. Like all the Rocker2s, the 100s have a light and lively wood core and are built with Salomon's now classic Twin Rocker profile, which combines low camber underfoot with rocker in the tip and tail for a ride that's edgy when you need it and surfy when you want it.The more you roll the Rocker2s over, the harder the edge will engage, so look out groomers and park jumps, but if you keep them relatively flat, the tips and tails will float and surf through softer snow, giving you the loose, smeary powder performance of a more powder specific ski. This is partly due to their Hook Free Taper, which moves the ski's widest points towards the middle for smooth turn initiation, as well as the ability to break your tips and tails out of a turn for that loose, surfy feel that pow skiers love. Loose and surfy doesn't mean wimpy, though, as the Rocker2s are built with a rugged sandwich sidewall construction that'll direct plenty of power to the edges and stand up to the occasional rock, rail, or root hit.
