Salmon's Ghost line has embraced the ethereal experience of ripping pow and crushing big lines for a while now, but the Ghost FS 100 Men's Ski Boot might be the most supernaturally balanced Ghost yet. Its 100 flex rating and 100mm last width sets it up at the mellower, more park 'n' pipe end of the spectrum, but the bi material polyurethane shell and cuff, removable backbone screw, and 50mm power strap let you put down some horsepower without overwhelming the flex and ending up with your nose resting on your tips. Salomon mapped the Ghost 100 with TwinFrame shell technology, too, making it stiffer and softer in key areas to increase control, improve fit, and ease entry and exit. Flex ratings generally cover fore aft stiffness, but lateral stiffness is just as important, especially if you're riding wider skis that require a little more oomph to move edge to edge. The Ghost 100 features Salomon's Oversized Pivot the pivot is the point where the shell and cuff are joined together, which reduces the lateral flex at the shell cuff joint for quicker and more precise side to side response, so you can rip through carves and link up turns almost without thinking. The heat moldable My Custom Fit 3D Pro Liner lets you ride with even more precision and comfort, and the removable padded spoiler and cuff angle can be adjusted to dial in the perfect amount of forward lean to suit your skiing style. Like all Ghosts, the 110 features Salomon's freeride trademark two buckle design to pull your heel into the pocket without crunching your toes, and it's been finished off with a Salomon Cushioning System SCS tongue and bootboard to take the sting out of heavy landings and choppy straightlines.
