In wet or snowy weather, a GORE TEX performance comfort membrane keeps water out of the boot while allowing your foot to breathe.Salewa's footwear is based on their Three Functions System which consists of Fit, Flex and Support. The Fit Function creates an anatomical fit that works with the asymmetry of the human foot and results in less movement in the heel of the boot, less rubbing and less potential for blisters. Salewa's Flex Function allows the collar of the boot to move more independently from the upper which results in unbeatable ankle flex for an agile stride and better performance on the trail or on rocky slopes.
