These tights take their name from the SubZero DWR material that makes up the majority of their construction. As the name implies, SubZero DWR is designed for insulation and given a DWR treatment to make it water resistant. This is further buttressed with panels of Firewall 180 at the knees and thighs to create a waterproof barrier in areas that get hit hardest when you're caught in precipitation on the bike. The discreet panels are combined with flatlock seams to eliminate chafing. The RS Zeroes incorporate a Formula FX chamois, which includes perforations for ventilation, a seamless surface, and V control pads to dampen road noise that filters up through the saddle. Four way stretch side panels conform to your body and move with you, rather than against you. The strategically appointed topography of varying thicknesses in the foam is designed to manage contact and weight distribution to protect sensitive areas and maintain ventilation.
