SRAM XX1 Chainring

At first glance, the SRAM XX1 Chainring is a simple design. Upon closer inspection, the tooth profile reveals a unique shape. The thickness alternates to match the inside width of the inner and outer chain links. This ensures a chain to ring interface so secure that when used with the XX1 rear derailleur, a chain tensioner isn't needed. To hold the ring securely on the crank, the bolts thread directly into the ring.
