Celebrating Danimals' leap from the global am to the professional ranks, Ride made a very limited edition Danimals X Helix Snowboard. The asymmetrical Helix is the Minnesota native's go to board for everything from riding rails in the streets to lapping jumps in the park and carving groomers in between. This freestyle specialist features an asymmetric shape that's based off the premise that heel and toeside turning dynamics are drastically different. The board's heelside sidecut has a deeper turning radius for a more balanced, effortless ride, making heelside turns incredibly easy, and switch riding intuitive. Plus, its true twin shape makes the Helix exceptionally capable when you're spinning off kickers and getting creative through the jib park. Designed with what Ride calls a Hybrid Twin profile, the Helix features a long, stable micro camber zone along its running length, with a LowRize Rocker before the nose and tail kicks for catch free jibbing. Ultimately, the micro camber makes the board extremely stable and poppy when you're tracking into freestyle features. The board's Pop Rods 2. 0 core consists of a urethane slime core that dampens impact and harsh vibration feedback, wrapped in flat carbon rods for tons of snap off the lip of kickers and extra stability on bigger landings. Hybrid Glass combines triax on top with a biax fiberglass layup along the bottom of the core, instilling a well balanced feel, especially at higher speeds. Slimewalls dampen harsh impact, especially when you're gapping onto down rails and stepping to bigger freestyle features. Add in the extra control of Carbon Array 3 laminates, as well as the fast glide of a Fusion 4000 base for an incredibly capable park and freestyle board.
