Rab built its lightweight Expedition 1200 Sleeping Bag for 8,000 meter peaks and polar regions. Rab's proprietary Hydrophobic treatment protects the 850 fill goose down insulation from moisture so you can stay warm in cruddy conditions, and highly water resistant Pertex Endurance covers the shell as well as the lining's hood and footbox for extra protection against the wet world. Pertex Microlight wraps up the rest of the lining for windproof warmth that also keeps this bag lightweight. Flowgate technology distributes the down across the longitudinal baffles evenly so you don't feel a cold, flat spot. The Expedition is slightly bigger than standard mummy bags in order to accommodate expedition suits, and the angled footbox keeps your foot from feeling squished. This sleeping bag also features an internal collar to seal out any cold drafts, an adjustable hood, a zipper on the left side, and internal drawcords to keep the bag snug across your body. Rab also included a dry bag compression stuff sack and a cotton storage sack for your convenience.
