The Profile Design 1ThirtyFive road handlebar takes the best of both modern compact bars, and more traditional round bend bars, and combines them into one distinctive shape. The 1ThirtyFive bar retains the flat top section of modern compact bars for a smooth transition between the bar tops and your STI, ErgoPower, or DoubleTap levers, making for a comfortable and easy transition from the bars to the hoods. But it also takes the huge 148mm drop, very round shape, and nearly flat drop section of traditional Belgian style bars for riders who like to ride in the most aggressive, aero position possible. The 80mm reach is a little longer than most compact bars, but only by a few millimeters, so it won't have you stretched out too far, and is ideal for those who need a little extra arm room. The shape of the bar also gives you plenty of forearm room for sprinting for the bars, or for those with bigger hands.
