The latest version of Pearl Izumi's top end cycling shoes, the PRO Leader III, somehow manages to be cleaner and sleeker than previous versions. If we ignored the BOA closure system, we might think it was a running spike, but as it is, the PRO Leader III shoes are an extraordinarily light race shoe that only seems to improve over time. By teaming with Pearl for this custom, vibrantly blue colorway, we've given the Pro Leader III's sleek silhouette an appropriately clean hue to further highlight Pearl's modern styling. This gives you a lighter, less bulky shoe that doesn't sacrifice fit. Pearl also reworked the carbon sole for this year to improve responsiveness by incorporating its 1:1 Integrated Power Plate for more efficient power transfer. Made with stiff, lightweight unidirectional carbon, the plate also reduces the stack height of the shoe compared to last year's version, with a minimal overall stack height of just 5mm, further reducing th...
