It is compatible with the most common 23.5mm cassette and disc brake lockrings, such as SRAM, Shimano, SunTour, and more. It even works with Shimano's disc brake lockrings. Designed for use with hollow, quick release axles, the 5mm guide pin stabilizes the tool during use and ensures proper use, install, and engagement with any cassette lockring. Its thin wall construction allows for use without removal of cones and locknuts for most hubs.
