If you ride in an area where rainy days are common, you're well aware that heading out under threatening skies only adds to the adventure. You also probably already know how important it is to have the right gear along with you so you can fully enjoy floating over those soft, loamy trails under dripping trees. POC's Resistance Mid Jacket wasn't designed to just get you back to the trailhead and into your car once it starts drizzling, it was made to accompany you on long rides through the rain, with features like reinforced sleeves and a DWR coated ripstop nylon construction that won't weigh you down while you ride. POC paid careful attention to add articulated sleeves with stretchy fabric at the ends to give the jacket some flexibility, along with under arm venting panels to keep the jacket breathing rather than trapping heat. Knowing you could be in the middle of a ride when the rain starts, POC cut the jacket to be roomy enough to pull on over elbow pads and a helmet, with a separate adjustment in the hood to make it helmet compatible. Quick fixes to fit while you're pedaling are easy with the one handed adjustment on the bottom hem, and in case you get a surprise break in the showers, the entire jacket folds into its chest pocket, so you can throw it in your pack quickly and take advantage of the sunshine.
