They're comfortable, too, courtesy of a stretchy inner sleeve and elastic hook and loop strap that keep your pads glued to your shins, rather than flapping around your ankles. And, of course, they'll keep your shins from getting shredded, with flexible VPD 2. 0 padding that's soft until impact, at which moment it hardens up to provide serious hard shell protection with a pedal friendly soft shell feel. The outer fabric is reinforced with Kevlar to help fight off abrasion, and the shin pad is designed to interface with POC knee pads, if you're looking to really armor up.
