The One Industries Ion Short is designed to charge, with a lightweight but thoroughly burly blend of ripstop polyester and polyurethane that will help you stay cool while fighting off grabby bushes, rough rocks, and abrasive dirt. One Industries also hooked the Ion up with mesh panels to increase breathability to stop things from getting swampy, and included a removable liner with a Blaster chamois, which wicks moisture to keep you dry and offers light padding to keep you comfortable in the saddle. The liner also offers light compressive support, which reduces muscle vibration to fight off fatigue. The fit of the Ion is on point, too. It's loose enough to wear with pads but slim enough for easy pedaling, and it has dual waist adjuster tabs that let you find the perfect fit, even after you wolf a burrito. The zippered hand pockets include a media port to keep your tunes wired and an optics wipe to keep your shades or goggles fresh, and the zippered fly lets you drop a knee on the side of the trail so you don't have to pee your pants when you're pedaling down to the parking lot.
