Oakley's Silverado Gore Tex Gloves aren't the warmest, or the burliest, or the most expensive, but they offer just about the best combination warmth, toughness, and affordability that we've seen. From the cuff to the fingertips, the Silverado is made from highly durable and flexible leather, and it features a Gore Tex membrane for extreme waterproofing and breathability. While staying dry is important, a glove also has to provide insulation, and the Silverado used Thinsulate to keep your fingers from freezing when you're spending your days tearing the resort to shreds. Oakley also hooked up a soft thumb patch for comfortable nose wiping, added a wrist zipper for easy ons and offs, and included a wrist loop so you don't drop your gloves off the lift and have to ski down while your fingers freeze solid. Finally, everyone knows that if there are no pictures, your sick send didn't happen, so Oakley made sure to integrated touchscreen technology into the fingertips, making it easier to document your adventures and answer calls when you're on the lift.
