They say there aren't any friends on a powder day, and maybe they're right, but when you're lapping the park or sliding handrails, it's better when you've got a crew. If, however, you're all by your lonesome, at least you'll be accompanied by the Nordica OMW One Man Wolfpack Ski, which boasts howlingly good park, pipe, and urban performance, with enough width and versatility to run with the all mountain pack. The OMW has a Park CamRock design, which is really just traditional camber with a twin tip tail, so you can carve hard into take offs and float through variable snow or stomp landings in pow without having to switch out your sticks. It also features a slightly asymmetrical shape, which makes it even easier to carve into icy booters without worrying about washing out and flying through the air sideways. Edge hold's no good without pop to help you get off the ground, so Nordica built the OMW with an Energy 2 Carbon wood core and fiberglass laminates, along with carbon over the edges, keeping the ski light while giving it the requisite pop and flex to butter and ollie and the stiffness to hold up to hard edging and all mountain skiing. ABS sidewalls and steel edges stand up to rocks and rails, but are really useful when combined with the sintered UHMW graphite gallium base, which gives you the speed to clear gaps and slide long rails, and the durability to stand up to whatever cruel punishment you deliver.
