The Direttissima 46 by Mountain Hardwear is a four season climbing pack made for comfort and versatility. Designed to be customizable and as lightweight as possible the pack has removable storage components that you can take out when you do not need them. It has glove compatible compression straps that make it easy to minimize the bag's size and maintain the most stable center of gravity possible. A FlatTop design allows you to use the pack without the top lid when you do not need it. An optional BMG hipbelt upgrade can transfer some of the load to your hips if you plan to carry heavy items frequently.The Direttissima is also renowned for its convenient and versatile storage options. You can remove the top pocket which has webbing on top and rope storage beneath. The front pocket has plenty of room for shovel storage and the pack also has convenient ski loops. If you require supplemental storage space you can use the bag's skirt extension to extend its volume by 6 liters. You can also lash mountaineering gear to the durable Dyneema front.
