Using a blend of proven construction techniques and modern materials, the Montane Men's Deep Cold Down Jacket brings old school mountaineering well into the 21st century. Featuring classic boxwall construction with 800 fill down insulation from certified non live plucked and non force fed geese, the Deep Cold down jacket is ready to take on the coldest weather in the world's harshest climates. The Deep Cold's classic boxwall shell is made with Pertex Endurance Rip stop and Mini Rip stop fabrics for durability and water resistance. The boxwall design provides extreme warmth and eliminates cold spots. The Deep Cold is insulated with premium 800 fill down and lined with Peaq down proof fabric. The hood, shoulders, and forearms are lined with soft to the touch Primaloft Eco Microfleece on top of the down fill. The High Mountain fit is slightly larger than a regular fit in the chest and arms to make it more comfortable when you wear multiple layers underneath. The longer cut adds a bit more protection across the tops of the thighs. Articulated elbows allow you to fully extend your reach without lifting the hem. The extra tall collar can be zipped up to cover your face all the way up to your goggles or pinned back with the Duraflex Thinna press studs to move it completely out of your line of sight. The removable, fully insulated hood is lined with Pertex Endurance so the down won't be affected by moisture from wet hair. The hood also features a foam insert and a wire brim for structure. The Deep Cold features plenty of pocket space to give you easy access to essential items. Six outer pockets and two inner pockets provide all the space you'll need for items outside of your pack. A YKK reverse coil front zip with a double storm flap and poppers at the top and bottom keeps moisture and spin drift from sneaking in, and cinch adjustments at the hood, hem, and cuffs completely seal out the weather.
