Michelin's GumX3D compound strategically employs three different rubber compounds for the best of fast rolling efficiency, tread longevity, and cornering grip. As expected, the center features the hardest rubber compound for less rolling resistance and greater tread life, transitioning to a slightly softer compound towards the shoulder knobs for excellent cornering control.
