Mavic utilizes a revamped aluminum rim with a wider, 21mm internal width to provide a solid tire platform that reduces sidewall bulge compared to previous iterations for a smooth, comfortable, and precisely confident ride. At the center sits Mavic's TS 2 freehub system, which features two simultaneously engaging pawls and a light, stiff Monobloc axle compatible with both ShimanoSRAM and SRAM XD freehubs. The hubset boasts sealed cartridges to lock out dirt for smooth spinning through any amount of dust, mud, and muck.
