Defender DWR is a Nano technology that can only be applied to polyester. The Defender DWR adds long term water repellency, oil and stain repellency and soil release for easy cleaning. The inner lining is a soft, thin layer of DriClime fabric that offers 3 Dimensional Wicking. As moisture moves from the inner fabric touching your skin to the outer fabric, it spreads out across the outer fabric to speed the drying process. DriClime continually passes moisture through to the outer surface for fast evaporation and it is not a finish that washes or wears out it works forever.The Women's DriClime Windshirt can be worn next to the skin as a wicking base layer, layered with other garments as mid layer insulation or worn alone as a low bulk, one piece performance system for high aerobic activities like running, hiking, cross country skiing or mountain biking. Angel wing construction in the arms and shoulders allow full range of motion and the drop tail extends past the lower back, offering good coverage on a bike.
