The Marker Duke EPF Binding is redesigned this year to give you better performance and better climbing. The new Duke features Markers new Extended Power Frame chassis which is 28 percent wider than the original chassis. Wider connection brackets means better power transmission. The Duke is aimed at aggressive big mountain skiers who demand performance out of their bindings but still want a smooth climb. This binding provides a DIN range of 6 16 and features Markers Triple Pivot Elite Toe which absorbs energy to reduce the risk of early release. The Inter Pivot Heel is designed for excellent power transmission and provides superior holding power for free skiing. For smooth climbing Marker designed the Duke to shift backward 40 mm in backcountry touring mode which results in a better swing weight and easier climbing. The Dukes climbing aid can be set to three positions 0 7 and 13 degrees and can be easily adjusted with a ski pole. If you demand downhill performance and crave the freedom of the backcountry the Duke is the binding for you. Since 1952 Marker has been in the business of bindings and has redefined the backcountry and alpine free skiing markets with their revolutionary bindings: the Duke Baron Jester and Griffon.
