The Trea is made from a water resistant nylon Tritan ripstop fabric, so you can depend on it to hold up against ripping ridgeline winds and mind numbing alpine temps. To keep the pack comfortable, Mammut fitted the pack with its Motion Butterfly system, a sturdy aluminum frame, and high density EVA back padding. The main compartment can be accessed through either the roll top or the large side zipper. The padded hip belt can be removed for when you're planning on spending most of your time roped up, while gear loops along the back of the pack carry skis, ice axes, and trekking poles.
