If we had our choice, most of us at Competitive would only ride in sunny conditions at 75 degrees Fahrenheit. But to date we've never been consulted about the weather, and whatever powers that be seem to prefer mixing it up seasonally. As we rotate through the seasons and the temperature dial dips into the low 40s and 30s, we turn to the Louis Garneau Lite Balaclava in a bid to stay on the road and off the trainer. The Lite Balaclava consists of two fabrics: Drytex 2002 and Drytex 3002. They feature hollow and microporous fibers, respectively, and enjoy the antimicrobial benefits of Louis Garneau's Nano Silver technology. The hood consists of the 2002 iteration and the neck and mouth panel boasts two layers of the more flexible and soft 3002 for added insulation benefits. Both fabrics release moisture, are fast drying, and regulate body warmth to keep you comfortable in cold conditions. The Louis Garneau Lite Balaclava is available in one size in Black.
