For the outer layer, Garneau applied its Diamond Air material, as this fabric is exceptionally lightweight, breathable, and wind breaking. Beneath this layer is a Mesh Airdry lining, which is a thin, semi perforated fabric that works to pull moisture away from your additional layers underneath the jacket. The back of the Electra received panels of Garneau's Micromesh to further its overall breathability and to prevent overheating. Additionally, the jacket was built with detachable sleeves, so that you can easily convert it into a vest. Garneau built the jacket with its women's specific ProFit, which closely follows the contours of your body while in the cycling position and accounts for additional layers worn underneath.
