Louis Garneau's Course Race 2 Shorts feature a redesigned, women's specific fit and a one piece construction that minimizes seams and drag causing transitions between materials to help you stay on course for a new PR. The shorts' body is made entirely of CB Lazer Rev, a compressive fabric that helps to eliminate fatigue causing vibrations from road noise. It's also treated with Coldblack, so it actually reflects the majority of the sun's energy, which would otherwise translate to body heat. The CB Pro Lycra Fiber waistband is stretchy and gently compressive with silicone detailing to keep the shorts in place, and it's interrupted at the front with a panel of Delfino material, which is more breathable and supportive. While most shorts incorporate some form of leg band to replace the elastic of yesteryear, the Course Race 2s have gone one step further by eliminating the additional material altogether. The leg openings are simply laser finished, for a fit that lies flat from waist to hem. With the gentle compression of the CB Lazer Rev, no additional embellishment is needed. The shorts are finished with the women's version of LG's 5 Motion chamois, which uses Beveled Edge Molding to smooth the transitions between the different strata of high density foam. The surface material is bacteriostatic and stretches to move with you instead of against you.
