It's hard enough to find just one board that accommodates your big feet, let alone an entire quiver of boards. Luckily Lib Tech has eliminated the need for a closet full of boards with the Attack Banana EC2 BTX Wide Snowboard. This all mountain slayer is based off the award winning, competition smashing, cult inspiring Skate Banana, and cranks up the all terrain prowess by adding an EC2 profile and a slightly stiffer flex to the equation. The result is a more powerful ride than the Skate Banana, and more forgiveness than the aggressive C2 boards. That means your powder board is your rail board, and your rail board rips the pipe. It's totally bananas, and we totally dig it. The Attack Banana is built on Lib Tech's EC2 BTX rocker profile. Basically, that means that there's rocker between the bindings for float and forgiveness, while the tip and tail have a moderate degree of camber for response and power, giving you a catch free ride that feels about halfway between the freestyle fun of the Skate Banana, and the more aggressive C2 boards like the T. Rice pro model. Magne Traction edges slice through ice like a knife so you can hold an edge on the slickest slopes, and a twin shape and centered stance allow for easy switch riding. A combination of sustainably harvested aspen and Colombian Gold wood makes the core strong and snappy, yet lightweight. Fiberglass is reinforced with basalt and Vectran to enhance energy return and dampening while reducing the amount of toxins created in the manufacturing process. Birch internal sidewalls provide an all natural way to crank up the durability, and they're buffered by UHMW external sidewalls for impact resistance. Oh, and did we mention it's made right here in the good ol' USA' Yeah, it's a no brainer.
