A spring in the lower shaft guarantees maximum tension and automatic rope length compensation. Filigrane high performance tensioning rope is reinforced with sturdy PE coating for lifelong protection of the fibers. LEKIs positive angle Aergon grips are made from durable plastic and feature a contoured extended closed cell foam grip with built in 10 angle. The AERGON GRIP air ergonomics is one of the pole innovations featured and is the lightest grip in Leki history. A Foam Grip Extension provides additional gripping area on the upper shaft to handle switchbacks and abrupt changes in terrain easily.
