Synthetic Kelty CloudLoft insulation offers 3 season comfort. Unlike untreated down fill, Kelty CloudLoft insulation provides warmth even when wet. This is particularly important if you'll be backpacking or camping in wet climates or in foul weather.By reducing the space that body heat needs to warm, the tapered mummy design makes the Big Dipper 30 Degree sleeping bag more form fitting and thermally efficient than rectangular bags. Layered offset quilt construction and an integrated anti snag draft tube sewn behind the zipper keep cold air from reaching the inside of the sleeping bag. For child safety, the drawcord around the face has been replaced with elastic. The 66D polyester taffeta liner along with a top draft collar provides internal comfort.The Big Dipper 30 Degree sleeping bag has the ability to expand an additional 12 in the foot box allowing the bag to meet the needs of a growing backpacker.
