The Base Camp allows you to set up a single water source for your entire group and eliminates the need to repeatedly pump and filter smaller amounts of water. Just fill the Base Camp by lowering it into a nearby water source and hang it up using the convenient easy openclose buckle system. Water is ready to drink immediately, filtered as it feeds through a pleated 0.3 micron Hiker PRO glass fiber filter and on through the Base Camp's 48 output hose. An activated carbon core reduces unpleasant tastes and odors, ensuring fresh tasting water. An onoff valve at the end of the output hose makes pouring quick and easy. The replaceable cartridge produces up to 200 gallons of drinking water, depending on the quality of the water source.
