The K2 Coomback 114 Ski is a new take on a classic, much loved ski. At 114 it's a bit wider underfoot than previous iterations, meaning you're going to get even more of that surfy feel you love on those deep days. Full sidewalls underfoot give this ski incredible edge control for something this wide, while the tip and tail rocker, as well as the rocker in front, all add up to a ski that is surprisingly agile and playful for something of this size. And even though it's certainly not of the skinny ski variety, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find the paulownia and maple wood core to be fairly lightweight when you're hitting that skintrack for your fourth dawn patrol of the week. To ensure both torsional rigidity and durability, K2 added a torsion box in the core as well as the Hybritech sidewalls, so you won't have to worry about things getting squirrelly or blowing out an edge when you're doing mach looney down a big line. When you get back to base camp at the end of the day, exhausted from a long day of trekking, jam the flat tails into the snow and hang your wet baselayers up to dry on your impromptu clothesline.
