The ability to switch between lenses sounds nice, but it's easier said than done when you're on a snow choked mountain with wind whipping around you. Realizing the impracticality of this endeavor, Julbo developed their Zebra Photochromic lenses to adapt to changing light conditions, so you can ski with one pair of goggles in a nearly any condition. The Universe Goggles feature a minimalist frame, which increases the wearers field of vision by 30% from traditional frames. Vents along the front of the lenses pull air through the front, and through the top of the frame for a clear field of vision, while the lenses themselves have an internal anti fog coating. The Zebra Photochromic lenses will adjust to changing light conditions within 22 seconds, so ice patches, flat landings, and whiteout conditions won't sneak up on you while you're on the mountain.
