Razor sharp, ultra light, and made with some of the most advanced materials and construction technologies available, the Jones Project X Snowboard is truly an awe inspiring all mountain, freeride work of art. A new type of Ultra construction featuring multiple layers of Fusion Tech epoxy and TeXtreme Carbon weave ensures this board stays feather light while packing a mean punch. Not to mention, a spoon shape, blunt nose, and slightly different take on the traditional camber give you the tools to dissect pow laden, heavy backcountry steeps with ease. Locked and loaded with Power Rocker, the Project X boasts an innovative, yet traditional camber profile that's slightly tweaked to deliver the incredible edge response of camber without its usual, annoying hangups. Its camber radius tapers to flat towards the tips, and the base is beveled up one degree at the edges from the camber contact points towards the ends of the board. This construction balances out the pop and stability of camber with a looser, catch free feel that's more akin to rocker. The moderate 3D base contours feature an even balance of spoon bevel in the nose and in the tail, while the blunt nose gives you the float benefits of a longer nose without it's slowing snow plow effect and extra swing weight. Redefining what it takes to build a snowboard, Jones' Ultra Construction precisely positions super light wood and carbon fiber materials exactly where they're needed, yet eliminates all excess materials for an insanely lightweight, strong, and durable result. A Fusion Tech topsheet replaces the traditional topsheet with super durable epoxy for sizable weight savings and material, while the TeXtreme Carbon laminate uses a 12K carbon weave for tons of strength and over 25% reduced weight.
