To achieve an optimal ride quality, reliable strength, and even spoke tension, Industry Nine uses 16 spokes along the rear wheel's drive side, complemented with 8 on the opposing side. This spoke orientation not only serves to balance spoke tension, but it also reduces the stress exerted on the rim, as well as lessening fatigue exhibited with a traditional 24 hole spoke wheel. By using this lower spoke count in a 21 lacing pattern, Industry Nine achieves a feathery light wheelset that's reliably strong for your cross and gravel grinding needs. As you'd expect from Industry Nine, this wheelset benefits from the responsive 6 degree engagement of their Torch Road Hubs. The Torch Road Hub is slightly reconfigured from their usual Torch Mountain Bike Hub, with a reduced 3 pawl count down from the usual 6 lessening drag and weight.
