Powder days can be rare, so when you're presented with an all you can eat buffet of waist deep pow, you'd better make some turns to keep the faceshots coming. With a relatively tight radius, the Icelantic Keeper Ski will keep your turns tight and the snow flying high thanks to a rockered tip and massive 160mm shovel that will instinctively plane through deep powder, blast through crud, and slash and burn turns through the trees.Like all Icelantic skis, the Keeper is made in Colorado and features original artwork by Icelantic co founder, Travis Parr . Its Tri Axe construction consists of a playful poplar core sandwiched between two bi axe fiberglass laminates, giving the skis a stiff flex for added stability when you open it back down to the lift line. The heavily rockered tip keeps the Keeper up when conditions turn deep, while camber underfoot offers plenty of grip to carve groomers and hold an edge when need to get down a bit of hardpack. The rockered tail makes scrubbing speed easy and helps keep the ski surfy.
