As part of Hilleberg's Red Label series of extremely versatile tents, the Hilleberg Kaitum 3 Person 4 Season Tent prioritizes lightweight carrying and roominess, all without sacrificing protection in demanding conditions. This all season tent sheds significant weight over its Black Label brethren at the slight expense of strength in the harshest of conditions. However, make no mistake, the Kaitum Tent holds up in nasty weather and strong gusts, even serving as a lightweight solution to those looking to shed precious pounds over the Black Label series on long term expeditions and exposed alpine use. The Kaitum features two vestibules for roomy gear storage, as well as easier entry and exit. Its tunnel design optimizes usable space for three, only requiring four stakes at a minimum, with a continuous sleeve and pole tensioner for quick, stable pitching. Fabric backed mesh doors and outer fly vents increase air flow for optimal ventilation. Moreover, you'll find pockets at all four corners for harmonious organization of camping gear and accessories. Kerlon 1200 outer tent fabric is puncture and abrasion resistant, holding up to rigorous use on a regular basis. The tent floor features a triple PU coated fabric for superior weather resistance. For enhanced protection from ground moisture, Hilleberg offers a separate tent footprint. Included with the tent are four 9mm DAC Featherlite NSL poles for an optimal balance of strength to weight, as well as 18 V Peg stakes for secure staking in all conditions. Note that Hilleberg offers optional pole holders for pitching the outer and inner tents separately.
