Once you get a taste of the lightweight construction and convenient entry system of the Gnu Men's Psych Snowboard Binding, it's hard to get psyched about anything else. It has a soft flex with a somewhat playful feel that rips inside the park and out, and the Easy Rider rear entry system not only gets you riding faster, but ensures you have the same fit every time. The lightweight baseplate is made with aerospace aluminum for an ultralight feel that's still responsive enough to handle steep runs and big jumps. A forgiving flex on the highback is playful enough to rip around the park, and the asymmetrical shape conforms to your calf for enhanced comfort and performance. The EVA foam footbed cushions harsh drops and absorbs vibrations for a smooth ride. Meanwhile, the cushy Asym ankle strap provides more support on the lateral side where you need it for holding carves, and it allows more flexibility on the medial side for tweaking grabs and slides. The Thin Fit toe strap is cored out, meaning it conforms to the shape of your foot for a secure, pressure free fit. As with all of Gnu's bindings, the Psych is equipped with the Easy Rider Speed Entry Binding System. The highback reclines for quick entry and exit, so you only need to adjust the straps once and then you're good to go all season. If, for some reason, you do need to make some minor adjustments, it also has a micro adjustment buckle for on the fly tweaks. The auto open lever makes entry and exit even easier by opening automatically once the highback is lowered. Finally, the binding has a pressure relief button that reduces strap tension quickly on the fly for instant comfort with no hassle.
