Whether you're hoping to escape from a busy day at work with a quick evening trail ride or you have a full day of errands and bike commuting ahead of you, trying to carry around enough changes of clothes can be overwhelming. Giro hopes to smooth the transition between casual life and ride time with its new 2016 clothing, designed to fit in on the trail and in the rest of your everyday life. The Truant Shorts are a part of this line, constructed to offer dependable trail riding performance in the classic cut of casual shorts. Giro starts by crafting the shorts with a durable nylon and spandex blend, which it then treats with a water repellent DWR coating to help the shorts stay dry during wet rides. The Truant's 11in inseam suits it to trail riding, commuting, and daily commitments, and the roomy leg openings and relaxed but tailored fit can easily accommodate a liner underneath for longer rides. Giro also added an unobtrusive stretch panel to the rear of the shorts, which you'll be able to feel on the trails as you move around in the saddle. The shorts are finished with an inner adjustable waist that lets you fine tune your ideal fit as your activities change throughout the day.
