Giro's Factor ACC HV Shoes grab your attention, but not in a highlighter and sparkles type of way. They're eye catching like the Batmobile is eye catching, with a matte black stealth look that's noticeable precisely because of its badass vigilante justice vibe. Of course, a killer shoe has to do more than look like it can keep the outlaws in line, and the Factor ACC delivers. It manages to combine a seriously stiff Easton EC90 ACC carbon fiber sole one of the stiffest around with a plush SuperNatural Fit Kit customizable footbed to provide the ultimate combo of power and comfort. The sole has a low stack height, which means it delivers power to the pedals more efficiently, and the inside of the shoe is also kitted out with an X Static antimicrobial lining to ward off smelly feet. On top, the Factor ACC is made from Evofiber, a lightweight, durable, and highly flexible microfiber. It wraps your foot in killer comfort, and perforated panels throughout the upper help speed up air movement and moisture transfer to keep your feet cool and dry. An MR1 ratcheting instep strap pulls your foot into the sole to prevent slipping, and two hook and loop forefoot straps help you dial in the fit and prevent side to side slop. Also worth mentioning is the Factor ACC's HV designation it's designed specifically for high volume feet, so if you have a super wide foot or high arch, it'll be a better fir than the standard Factor ACC.
