The outer shell in the Body Clone category is the Forma Jacket. The jacket is form fitting yet remains elastic to conform to every movement. It is constructed with Activa Plus GTB, which is a multi layer fabric that is windproof, waterproof and breathable. The Meryl Actisystem outer layer has a titanium treatment, which increases opacity and filters out UV rays. The middle layer is a WindTex membrane, which is windproof, waterproof, lightweight, elastic and breathable. Inside is a soft pile lining of insulating polyester for warmth. There are WindTex panels under the arms and a Super Roubaix panel under back of the arm. An I Pocket with cable holder is sewn intothe inside lining. This year there is added reflective piping on the back for increased visibility, and a new zippered wrist closure. The collar is extra tall and the zipper has a protective flap to seal out the elements. Three cargo compartments plus a fourth zippered compartment offer ample room for carrying necessities. A silicone waist gripper featuring the Giordana logo keeps the jacket perfectly in place throughout the ride. The Forma Jacket is recommended for temperatures under 45F.
