Designed around GT's More Tread Room tire clearance concept, which marries the fast and nimble feel of a road bike to the versatile capabilities of a cyclocross or hard tail mountain bike, where you go on your next ride is limited only by your imagination. The secret to the Grade is the frame. Utilizing an updated version of GT's famed triple triangle design, the Grade frame is optimized for on and off road adventure. The frame is made with double butted, hydroformed alloy for a lightweight, durable bike. The Shimano Sora 2x9 speed drivetrain ensures precision shifting plus a wide range of gears to tackle demanding terrain. Bengal mechanical disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power in any conditions while Kenda Kwest 700x28mm tires deliver a substantial contact patch for traction and comfort. Completing this excellent components package is a pair of durable Alex ATD 470 rims with Formula 6 bolt disc brake hubs, and seatpost, saddle, stem and handlebars from GT.
