Pulling some of its best tricks out of its deep hat, Evoc has made a backpack to be the envy of all cycling backpacks. The Evoc Commuter blends style, smart details, and German engineering into a bag that's admittedly a bit more expensive than the competition, but earns those dollars every time you throw it on. The majority of the Commuter is made of EPO coated tarpaulin polyamide material, making it lighter, stronger, more UV resistant, and much more environmentally friendly than standard issue tarpaulin found in comparable backpacks. The material and the zippers are waterproof, too, and the Cordura fabric base is tough enough to prevent abrasion and punctures. The Commuter's straps are stowable in the mesh paneled back, making it easy to stash above or below your seat, or to tote the bag like a briefcase via the side handle if necessary. There's a heavily padded laptop pocket 17in capacity and an adjacent iPad sleeve, along with a dedicated phone or music pod pocket. For safety, there's reflective webbing, a light clip, and all zipper pulls are reflective. The Evoc Commuter backpack has 18 liters of internal volume and weighs approximately 1000g. It measures 30 x 48 x 12 centimeters and is available in the colors Blue and Black.
