Calling a ski all mountain can be a nice way of saying ,yeah, it's OK, or it can actually indicate that a ski can rip groomers, crush powder, and power through chop without feeling out of place. Dynastar's Powertrack 84 Ski falls solidly in the latter category, with a design that blends the best parts of hardpack and soft snow skis for serious shredding on any terrain. Like a powder ski, it's built with rocker in the tip and tail to float over deep snow and day old chop, but it has a burly fiberglass laminate that gives it plenty of stiffness to charge down groomers and mob through manky snow with stability and confidence. Traditional camber underfoot lets you rail turns at eye watering speeds while the tough sandwich construction and full length sidewalls provide plenty of stability and power, as well as a bonus shot of durability. To keep things fun when you venture off piste, Dynastar designed the Powertrack with progressive five point sidecut, a staple in, fun shaped, powder skis, tapering the tips and tails for easier turn initiation and a loose, surfy feel in powder. The tapered tail lets you break out of turns easily to slash like you're in a ski movie or dump speed before you accidentally launch off a cliff, and the tip shape allows for smooth, consistent turning without the hooky feeling that plagues traditional skis in soft snow. The snappy, powerful Powertrack doesn't have much of a speed limit in hard or soft snow, and it's mid fat and playful shape will make sure you don't skip out on a second of fun because the conditions aren't exactly to your liking.
