Cycling's been your main sport for years now, and you don't see that changing anytime soon. But with some insistent persuasion from your riding crew, you've decided training for a few tri's doesn't sound like a bad way to spend your summer. If it's been a few years since you've done any sort of running, then impossibly light, flexible running shoes like Diadora's Hawk 5 Podium Running Shoes probably look slightly foreign to you. The shoe's lightweight, breathable upper provides an airy fit across the top of your foot, while a molded EVA sole absorbs impact to give you a springy, cushy platform to rediscover your stride on. While these aren't the shoes we'd recommend jumping into long distance training with, they make a versatile short day shoe and something you could throw into your race bag to wear on the podium after you finish your next road race.
