Given that we collaborated with the Italian manufacturer Castelli to design the Holy Week Jersey as a tribute to the hellish passages of Northern cobbles spanning the first two Sundays in April, it's only appropriate to open by borrowing from Dante: Abandon all hope, ye who enter here. Flanders and Roubaix bookend a week long crucible in which aspiring champions are either anointed or exposed as frauds. This jersey celebrates the passion, glory and dreams crushed during a week of racing so brutal that just to finish can feel like a victory. Like with our previous collaborations with Castelli, the Holy Week is based on the Team Jersey's platform. Its body is the same proprietary Prosecco Strada fabric, which is aimed to keep you fresh on even the hardest days in the saddle with a blend of gently compressive stretch, breathable weight, and all encompassing comfort. The result is a conforming fit that helps to alleviate the fatiguing effects of road noise while breathing well. Courtesy of the material's Prosecco treatment, it also banishes moisture with the same long suffering endurance that elevates a mere pretender to a champion of the classics. The material's controlled stretch means that the jersey had to be cut with a form fitting pattern. The seams are shaped to the body while it's in the cycling position and the sleeves have been shifted forward to match your posture while stretched out on the bars. While this fit may feel tight across the chest when you're off the bike, it accommodates an in saddle reach without bunching or restriction. The jersey is finished with a full length front zipper and the standard complement of three rear pockets.
