Named for the Royal Street climb near our home office in Park City, Utah, the Capo Royal Street Jersey was built on Capo's Corsa pattern with design input from us. And by design input, we mean aesthetically. The people at Capo know clothing, and we gladly yield to and enjoy the fruits of their expertise. Whether you're an aspiring cyclist like us or an actual member of World Tour royalty who's just enjoying a Roman holiday, we're sure you will, too. One of these fruits is the Resistex CarbonES material on the front, back, shoulders, side panels and pockets. It's got an SPF of 50 and is antimicrobial, which in turn neutralizes odors before they can even become an issue. Our abiding impression of this stuff is that it's lightweight. Really lightweight. Pull you up short, intense climbs like Royal Street because it's lighter than air lightweight. Needless to say it breathes well, and the honeycomb like texture wicks moisture from your skin and gives a very accommodating stretch. A few additional details make this the ideal summer jersey. It's got VMesh panels under the arms for even more ventilation, Capo's gel grip at the waist to keep it in place while you're wrestling your bike up climbs like its namesake, and a full length zipper for when the going gets too hot for even the CarbonES and VMesh to handle. It's also got that distinctive touch of Competitive style. The classic solid black is interrupted only by a subtle dot pattern, which climbs the shoulders in a raglan shape, and our own tri dot logo on the breast.
