The bright colors and form fitting race design of the Gelato Jersey are Capo's way of stylistically embodying the bright, pain induced stars we see when we push ourselves to the absolute limit for no other reason than someone else is up the road in front of us. After all, when a few of miles of a 7% grade in zone three has forced all the blood into the legs, the head isn't necessarily firing on all cylinders. The jersey is built from 11 different panels, all placed strategically to maximize each material's stretch and aerodynamic properties. The main body is Leggero micro fiber, which Capo classifies as an ultra lightweight material whose tripartite resume makes it ideal for jersey construction: it wicks, breathes, and stretches to conform to a body pedaling in anger. The shoulder panels are the distinctly textured Speed Lite micro fiber, which boasts a second skin fit to lie flat for a minimal aerodynamic profile. While the bright, high contrast colorway is almost impossible to miss in daylight, a pair of Capo's Luminescence arm cuffs take up visibility duties at dusk.
